Making a payment

We charge a deposit for all appointments, this covers the cost of the room so we aren’t out of pocket for no shows or last minute cancellations. You can also pay in full, but the deposit amount will be lost if you fail to notify us of any changes 48hrs before your appointment. You can pay the remainder in cash or via debit or credit card when you arrive.

Can someone accompany me?

Yes, you can bring someone along to your appointment.

How long do therapeutic sessions last
  • We strongly recommend that you choose a one hour appointment if it is your first time using Motioncare. We use this time to properly examine your posture and movement patterns and take any additional notes. This ensures we can maximise your treatment time and deliver you the best care from your first session to your last session.
  • We utilise online forms to collect information about your symptoms so we can spend more time helping you with treatments, advice & exercise.
What should I wear during the session
  • Clients are usually expected to dress down to their underwear during the assessment & treatment.
  • Once you’ve been assessed, areas which aren’t being treated can be covered up with clothing.
  • You can wear shorts & a sports bra if this helps you to feel more comfortable during the appointment.
  • If your clothing restricts treatment or assessment we’ll ask you if you are happy to move them to one side, have them folded up or removed – we can always accommodate your needs or offer an alternative.
  • We don’t usually use draping techniques for hygiene purposes and simply because we aren’t offering spa style remedial massage but we have freshly cleaned towels at hand if you would like to be covered up. You are also more than welcome cover up any part of yourself with your own towel during the treatment.

How Many sessions do I need
  • We recommend return sessions if they will benefit you – we will  discuss this with you during your appointment. 
  • After your initial assessment we will discuss the treatment plan based on the issue, type of treatment and rehabilitation which might be required.
where is Motioncare based
  • We treat from Target Fit on Wanstead High street. There is a small flight of stairs in order to access the treatment room.
  • We also offer mobile services in East London; E10, E11, E18, E17. This may be perfect for less mobile clients and people who can’t travel.
  • We can travel to other areas subject to fees & our discretion.
Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, like all other therapists, we do not offer refunds for deposits. You are paying to secure the room and our time. 

We are happy to reschedule appointments if you contact us with 48hrs of your appointment.

If you are unhappy with our services we want to do more than just refund you, we want to make things right, contact us directly and we will do our best to resolve any issues.
